The University of Saskatchewan is inviting graduate students from around the world to apply for an international awards program in Canada. The scholarship is open to masters and doctoral students looking to pursue a research program in Canada. For masters students, the scholarship is tenable for 24 months while for the doctoral research program, the scholarship is tenable for 36 months.
To be selected for this highly sought after international awards at the University of Saskatchewan, applicants are expected to meet certain conditions. Only applicants who have demonstrated exceptional academic qualities in their previous studies would be considered for this program.
Applicants are expected to score a minimum average of 80% from their previous studies before applying for this award. The international award is also open to graduate students who are currently carrying out research programs in other institutions but wish to switch to the University of Saskatchewan. But in an instance, applicants must be in their first year of the research program for either masters or doctoral research program.
Also, applicants are to note that these awards are granted based on nominations. You are expected to approach your current or previous institutions of learning to obtain their consent for nomination. This is done so that only candidates who are up and doing are selected for the MSc funding as well as the doctoral research program.
